The Positives

Maintaining peak performance year after year is nearly impossible for so many reason regardless what people are paid... the fact we are where we are this season, challenging across three competitions is close to a miracle..

I can't see Arsenal getting more than a point at Newcastle after how much we spanked them here today. If they lose that match, and we continue our imperious form, we could win the title at our last home game against Chelsea. What an occasion that could be!

Even if they get a draw (the best I'll give them right now) we could go into the Chelsea game knowing a win there would only require us to get 1 point from our 2 remaining games. Magic!

Come on Newcastle!

Let’s hear what they are:

We’re second in the league and like it or not that means we’re in the title race. Who’s to say the Arse won’t bottle it - they lost to a previously woeful Everton yesterday. We also have a centre forward who is on for breaking all sorts of scoring records this season. We have players and managers who know what it takes to win the league. We can still do it.
This aged like a very fine wine.

Think we need this at the minute. Far too much negativity over the past 24-48 hours in what could be a momentous season for us.
I understand the need for the club to acknowledge frustrations and to communicate openly and honestly but we are potentially 11 games away from immortality.
We need togetherness and positivity to push the lads over the line. I’m not acquiescing but I do think we need to park some of the issues for the next 3-4 weeks and show the support we did on Wednesday, which was amazing. Negativity could derail us. Just my opinion.
