Can't blame everything negative on the manager for fucks sake, there are somethings out of his control. The amount of bile being spewed Hughes' way is a joke. The way we came back each time shows real grit and determination, especially after being harshly sent down to 10 men.

This kneejerk reactionism is blind.

No but I can blame him for not recognising that Kompany is not a DM not in a million years and leaving him out to dry for at least 30 minutes longer than he should. I can blame him for playing Barry who has looked out of touch for some time including the Chelsea game. And I can definitely blame him for the training our defense gets. They have trained together every week, 5 days a week for 4 months, cost a fortune and our defense is worse than the one we had under Pearce.

Kompany is a great player and just as good a DMF as a Centre Half. Admittedly he was poor at times today but he is a great player. Barry played well today and last week against Chelseas and you understand very, very little about football. We are signifcantly, significantly improved on last season and the season before that.

Re: Any Hughes inners left after that?

All I know is that draws against Birmingham, Wigan, Burnley, Fulham, Hull, and Bolton ain't good enough. We conceeded 10 goals in those games, only keeping a clean sheet in one.
We also only had slender 1-0 wins against Wolves and Pompey.

I seriously would have expected this team to hammer at least one of them. It's all well and good going unbeaten, but you've also got to be beating teams at the same time.

Any other season playing like this would have seen us well behind 4th spot, but as it is we've been lucky with others results and performances.

Did you expect criticism of the last two performances?

When we get poor performances and poor results there will be criticism, when we don't there won't.

And this was unquestionably a poor result (won't comment on the performance)

Every team has poor performances over a season. Calling for the manager to be sacked every time we don't win is just pathetic.

Beaten just once all season, semi-final in Carling cup. We are progressing - not just as fast as the spoilt little babies would like.

I am not looking at results I am looking at performances and we have had too few of them for the money Hughes has spent.

Their also not given out this early in the season

But titles (and in our case) top 4 spots are lost this early in the season.

And my fear is that come the end of the season we'll be looking at games like this and think they were the ones that will cost us a top 4 spot. It's just so frustrating to think where we could have been, I just hope this is our blip because we could have had a real gap on the chasing pack that could have been essential later in the season.

And we could be looking back and thinking - christ that turned out to be a very useful point considering we were behind three times.

I don't think there is any doubt we should be 8-10 points better off than we are at present, but still being in the mix despite that paints a decent picture going into the second half of the year, with a transfer window should be need it.

Re: Any Hughes inners left after that?

Result today wasn't the best but the performance could only be admired. The last couple of weeks have been a massive improvement. I can only see positives from now on in

For all you inners, i admire your acceptance of mediocrity. Cus we will win f*ck all with Hughes in charge.
How is top 6 and first major semi in 28 years mediocrity??? guessing by your logic Spuds fans should be calling for the spiv to be sacked after getting beat by Wolves or Chelsea having dropped 5 points in the last 2 games should send Carlo Ancelotti packing back to Italy???

Last time i looked Chelsea were top.

Trust me, Spuds fans will very soon be calling for the spivs head if their downward spiral continues.

1 win in 8 is mediocrity at its very extreme.

The thing is it's not fucking reactionary shit and stop saying it's knee-jerk when it's been a long long time he's had to try and fix things and it's the same old shit week after week. Top 4, fucking having a laugh, mate.

Oh fuck off mate. What team of the last 30 years that City has put out has had the heart to come back 3 times away from home to get a point when we were having a bad day and had lots going against us? Sure we shouldn't have played like we did, but you can't say that Hughes hasn't got a lot of things right. There are plenty of questions to be answered yet, but we are well and truly in the fight for the top 4 whether you like it or not. Sometimes I feel that some City fans just love failure and would prefer to see us stuff it up so they can point and say 'told you so!' then to be patient and give things time.

I'd love to hear about your reaction to Tottenhams loss at home to Wolves. Fuck they must be going to be relegated on the basis of your logic!

No, but they can be won or lost!

Im a Hughes outer but how about this. Not much wrong going forward and im convinced that the defenders at the club are good one's. How about Bowen out?

Something is not right and someone isnt doing their job. If Hughes is a man that will not settle for second best, maybe he should do what needs doing and look at changing his backroom team?

Wont happen though will it!

Thats exactly why he has to go.
