It's all starting to become a bit cringy.

If wer'e gonna do it, you do it properly.

Not 300 people doing it after we have scored.

You need a few thousand doing it and not just because we have scored a goal.
Far more than 300 people were doing it today.

We could potentially do it at other times too but it's good to do it when we've scored.

It's not cringy at all. I sit in Block 301 and believe me it looks class from up there.

And why do you need to do it at other times? I didn't know there were any rules to it. I just seems like an original goal celebration (for this country). Every time you can see the away fans looking and thinking WTF - because it looks impressive and a bit different.

I think it will die at some point though if people continue to take it so seriously.

talking to a few villa fans on tues, they asked me what it was all about. i explained but then said most city fans where distancing themselves from it because of the fascist connotations..

Oh dear, 'fascist connotations' and 'most City fans'?

First of all just because Poznan have some fascist fans (who I detest) it doesn't make us fascists for nicking it, the idea is ridiculous. Secondly, I'd say most City fans love it rather than distance themselves from it.

Oh, here we go again. The PC brigade are out. They don't like it, and won't do it, But they're happy to comment on it, even though they're not interested in it. Why?

Anyway. Typical! Went for a pi** and missed the goal. Got back into my section to witness the Poznan in full flow. Looked from the top of 110, and 109, 110 and 111 were all doing it to a man. Let's say there's 500 seats per block. That's 1500 doing it.

Looked to my left towards the SS, over the Blackpool fans who were sat down, and the whole of the SS was doing it. Another 1500?(possibly more)
So it total, there were at least 3000 fans doing the Poznan.

And yes, it did look bloody impressive by English/PL support/standards. If you don't believe me, go and ask any Blackppol fan who saw it. Their faces were a picture. As in. What the f*** is that? Mental.

Don't forget, fans of other PL teams haven't seen that celebration.

Long may it continue. :-)

PS. My mates sit in the 3rd tier, who aren't easily impressed, also commented how go it looked, when walking back to the car after the match.

I'm in 210 unfortunately it doesn't qute reach me but it looks class to see the whole south stand doing it. As for most fans dis-associating ourselves from it due to fascist links, what a load of rubbish, how many of our 44,000 fans said this yesterday to come up with this statement? The people on this thread criticising it are no doubt the fans who go to football to watch rather than support their team, that's your choice but don't slag fans off for attempting to generate some kind of atmosphere.

Has anyone got any footage of it? I'm in 110 and therefore don't get to see the full effect of the Poznan. Would be good to see it from the other side of the stadium
