the celebrations were defintely muted
and I was proved right in what i said in the pre match thread....their goal came from our left side of defense...kolorov not even in our half when they scored....MDM getting caught for pace in behind and Kompany having too much to do on the cover.....Id say my concerns were pretty much born out....
I also said that Kolorov was probably there for his attacking intent.....he set up nasris goal
I also said that dzeko over negrado had to be because of injury - and suprise suprise Dzeko was awful and negrado only got a few minutes (which must have been down to him not being completely match fit)
think i was pretty much spot on actually
You said you were worried about Kolarov (not Kolorov) up against Johnson. Remind me who got subbed again?

firstly who played the ball in for borini to score...yup johnson......he also caused the other close call in the first half beating MDM at the byline from the throw in......he may have got subbed but he had an impact down that left hand side where i said he would (when MDM dived in (as i said he would cause he has a tendancy to do so)....sunderland targeted the left side of our defense as a weak point which is what i and others were saying before the game......
secondly kolorov defesively is someone that always concers me...just admit i was right and stop trying to aplit hairs......he leaves big gaps and hasnt got the pace to get back (which i said in my origional post clichy has)......and i correctly pointed out (as many have) that MDM is a weak point of our defense
if you cannt see that our weakest comb defensively is MDM and Kolorov for that left hand side then it is I that is worried about you.....Kolorov is very good going foward...but weak defensively....and MDM is good with the ball at his feet but anyone playing in behind him and he struggles......
Play that pair vs Liverpool away at anfiedl and see what happens...and you can bookmark this if you want

Agreed. Ive just watched Real Madrid and Athletico and I'll be surprised if Ancelotti doesn't win the Champs league. Benzema, Bale and Ronaldo have scored 70 goals between them. Amazing !!!

Aguero, negrado and edin 66 between them (83 if you throw yaya in) in a much tougher league
