These TT conditions are horrendous. Gonna be a few fallers this afternoon I reckon.
Agree with that. I love the big hills. Went for a ride this morning and hit a pretty decent ascent, but it was short. I realised these guys go up ramps like that for hours......4 hours of watching a breakaway and then 30 seconds of sprinting isn’t for me I’m afraid and as ever, the race will come alive when we hit those big fucking ramps!
It's the speed they go up that's the crazy thing imo...if you've ever stood on one of the big Alpine ramps when they're going up, their speed is just stupid fast.Agree with that. I normally have jealous ‘wish I was there, not here’ feelings when I watch grand tours on the telly. Not this Giro though …G best get the stabilisers fitted to his rig he’s on first name terms with tarmac these days.

I know it’s not Road, but magnificent MTB World Cup win from Pidcock earlier today.
Just caught up on the TT after the footy - unusually exciting!
Bit gutted for G there at the end, but him and Tao look safe bets for a podium place for one of them, who knows, maybe even better.
Did you say on the other thread you were heading out there? Enjoy if so.G looks in very good nick as does Tao, Pidcock is a ridiculous talent
