When i have the need to take your advice on certain matters i will ask.

No dont.

Just leave us alone thanks to discuss a sport we like. :)

I bike myself, nothing amazing like, but i just thought a tad of humour on this thread wouldnt do any harm....you sour faced punk..:-)

Coming late to this thread and as a relatively new poster. Great ride by Cancellara in the Tour of Flanders today. Gutsy and powerful.
Looking forward to getting out on my bike over the Easter period, It's a pity that the Tour of the North staged road race here in NI has been cancelled. Much of the higher parts of the route are still under a heap of snow and the organisers wisely decided to call off the event as the emergency services are helping bring supplies to beleaguered farmers and others who have been affected by the heavy snow. It was felt that the race might divert these efforts.
Cancellara looks a decent shout for the Paris-Roubaix. He was flying.

Incredible power from Cancellara, the way he broke Sagan was hugely impressive. A word for Michael Kwiatokwski as well; he showed at T-A that he's not just a TT'er, he can mix it with the top guys on tough climbs, and now he shows up well in a classic too - looks to have a bright future ahead of him.

muy emocionado por Pais Vasco hoy - should be a corker of a few days!

Brilliant finish at the Basque Tour today.

I wont ruin it as the highlights are well worth a watch tonght.

If you have missed the highlights im sure you will find it on you tube.

A 21% final ramp and Heneo won by a tyre with Contador and Porte 10 seconds back.

The last 10k of the race is brilliant.

Paris-Roubaix this weekend- who is everybody tipping for the win?

Also think a few people will appreciate this blog: http://bigringriding.com/

Some stunning pictures on there, some brutal ones too.

Watched the Basque Tour all week and Sky have been unbelievable all week, catch it if you can. Kiriyenka is a must for a Grand tour domestique as he is unreal. he did 30k on the front in the rain and snow bringing a break back that included people like Talansky.

Porte won the stage superbly.

I havent watched Paris - Roubaix before but cant wait for Sunday. Canchellara has to be favorite surely but he has crashed twice this week in training. Im hoping for a good showing from Stannard or Thomas.

Tomorrow will be epic; 12-4 on eurosport - bring on the hurt!
With this weather turning for the better, it's set up for me & the lad out 10-12 then feet up for the cobbles. I like the idea of doing a tour stage but I can honestly say I've got no desire to do anything like this at all.
Today went up Swiss Hill I think it's called in Alderley Edge - plenty of cobbles there & it felt about 20% with the front wheel doing unasked-for wheelies on the way up. Short & not very sweet

Saw some of the TT from Basque today; 2nd & 3rd respectable for Sky - and has the added benefit of leaving it in no doubt who will be their No1 riders for the Giro and Tour
