Well the skeleton of Jimi Hendrix would be laughing away in it's coffin at the sound of anyone suggesting a Smiths album is better than one of his as an all-time greatest.

My favourite mid eighties album is "Happy Nightmare Baby" by a band called Opal. I don't mind the Smiths, they did some good songs but I don't think one of their albums would be in my top fifty.
