The question on everyone’s lips for you Early Leavers

I’ve left a game early before not because I needed to beat the traffic, or because I had 10 trains planes and automobiles to catch, not because I needed to be at work an hour before kickoff even started for my 25 hours a day shift down’t pit.

I’ve left early before purely because I fancied and pint or some chips and it’s my fucking money and I live in a free country where if people want to leave early they can do what the fuck they want and it’s nobody else’s business.

Nobody cares if you leave a gig before the encore do they.

So fuck off you nosey cunts. Curtain twitching wankers - can’t be that obsessed with watching every second of the match if you’re too busy saying “is this a fire drill” to other people can you.

Many had this attitude during the dark days but under Pep and this team….

How empty must some people’s lives be if all they care about is counting numbers of people who dare to leave before the final whistle.

Fuck me, proper boring twats.

You're not a proper fan unless you have a thousand badges on your coat and a couple of silk scarves around your wrists constantly shouting CITY CITY CITY ;)

Does the 72 minutes include the 8 minutes extra at half time? If not, you might need to go on 64 mins.

How much injury time at the end of the first half would mean you could have an extra pint at halftime?
yep. Forgot about the half time solo exodus.
i tend to head for the concourse on about 38 mins regardless and return 5 minutes into the second half.
i`m a slow guzzler

It is an issue but the horse has long since bolted so no point wasting energy complaining.
Folk, as they always have done will tend to do what suits them best.
C’est la vie.

This has been done to death, but I'll still put my tuppence worth in.

1. People have paid their money and can do what they want.

2. It's fucking embarrassing seeing the ground half empty as we approach injury time.

3. Pep and the players hate it and have asked for fans to stay til the end to support the team. We want them to give their all, they are asking the same from us.

All three things can be true at the same time.
Yep. The great YAYA aston vanilla goal was scored into a half full north stand.
spoils it for me

Maybe it is just a mini-boycott, mainly to upset people who think it looks bad on the telly, and the TV companies of course.

When we are winning comfortably and Pep subs off half the team with 20 mins to go as he is no longer interested in scoring, it is no wonder fans start to leave.

Spot on, on all three points.

What time do the early leavers head for the exits now we have new regulations in place for injury time?

I’m going for an unchanged constant stream from 75 minutes. Our early leavers are probably the best in the business - completely dedicated to the cause. In the past they’ve not let the signing of superstars, title battles or critical late winners and equalisers get in the way of their battle with the traffic, so no way are they going to let a little rule change change their match day rituals.

And let’s face it, there’s absolutely no way they’re going to risk getting their arses kicked for missing the first 10 minutes of Ant and Dec.
Absolutely embarrassing, I know the transport system is poor but fans leaving early are pathetic. Well never have a better team and they deserve to be applauded by full stands. I do understand leaving on final whistle when it's a 8 kick off but for weekend matches I find it pathetic and embarrassing
