The Rags Have 'Silva' Envy

Let's be honest there was a fair bit of clutching at straws by opposition fans, pundits and the press when we signed silva. Completely ignoring the fact that every top club in Europe wanted to sign him before he signed for ciy. That included the rags, Liverpool, Chelsea and more than likely real Madrid. Maybe even barca had an interest at some stage with some of their midfielders getting on a bit now.

It's no surprise he has turned out to be easily the best midfielder in that position in the league.

The talk of modric being comparable let alone better is quite frankly laughable… he's just a shit rat like version of him.

Still amazed we managed to sign him and kun. They really are top top players that would get in any team in the world international level even barca or real IMO.

Why do so many people refer to the Premier League as the EPL? Do these people refer to Serie A as ISA, Bundesliga 1 as DB1, or La Liga, as ELL?

How strange, all rather NBA, NFL isn't it? I know the yanks and their dollars have bought a few clubs over here and we're sponsored by an American cooking lager, but please gents, show some respect. It's not 20/20 cricket after all. If we don't watch out it'll be the the Manchester Blue Sox's verses the Trafford Red Pants, or MBS V's TRP.

As for unytid's horde of the undead, well these clowns keep coming back for more don't they. Still amazes me after all these years that the most bitter people I've ever met (EVER) so often accuse City fans of being bitter. Incredible isn't it? Are they all being incredibly ironic, all part of an enormous private joke? Sadly I doubt it, as one of them would have made a hilarious banner by know to prove how crazzzzeeeee they are. Something like: “Your whores may have forgiven you Wayne, but we won’t.” Oh well, just goes to show no matter how much success one's favourite team enjoys it doesn't necessarily bring happiness.

he wouldn't get into our first 11 but maybe a backup to Milner or someone.
He works hard but has a limit to his skill and approaching 30 he isn't going last longer either...

I tried to argue that silva was one of the best midfielders in the premiership and got the response from a utd fan that he cant be because he has never won the premiership and anyone could win the world cup and european championships in that spain team.

Park good enough for City? Mo chance. The only reason he gets selective gametime for the scum is to appease their far east fanbase. Sure he grafts and pops in the odd goal, nut quite simply he is not good enough to get in our squad and would not add anything to improve it.
David Silva IS world class, if he were playing for one or two other teams the press would have been creaming their pants for months. Look at the wankfest over jones, cleverley and henderson.
