The return of not so super Mario

I'd sooner go down on my Nan!!!

Imo he is a MLS bound player. Purely for the fame he brings. Comes to something when you can list 20 or so cheapers players you'd rather!

I think Mario is just about done. Maybe Monaco represents his final crack at a top club.

I consider him bad news, but just factoring in the £12m plus whatever we get for Guidetti in January.

Liverpool want him out and will take close to the £16m they paid.

He's cheap as chips and knows the club inside out.

Risk it for a biscuit?

Would certainly take him over Darren Bent.

Whatever I think of him, still one of ours and admits he should never have left.

Id take him for that money, no doubt.

The lad has it all apart from the right attitude and if he could get that he will be world class.

Bob pandered to him and spoilt him but maybe Pellers could get him playing to his potential?

That said, cant see Txiki going anywhere near him and you couldn't blame him.

stay off the drugs mate. He`s had enough money out of us. Let thedippers keep paying him.

Totally agree. Good player when he wants to be, but far too imature and would be a very bad apple now. He had his chance with us, let someone else manage the problem that is Mario

Are you bleeding mad, no chance, no effing chance.

He seems a good laugh and would be cool as a mate but i don't think his head is truly in the game is it.
Top man but loose canon as a player.

For anything around the £12 million mark he would be a steal. I actually think he regrets leaving here and would relish the chance of coming back. I think people need to start accepting that Mario will never be a world class player. However, he will be a very useful squad player.

Also, if it didn't work out we could always ship him off to NYCFC for a similar price the following season. Isn't there a huge Italian/American population in New York? And Mario is without doubt the most marketable Italian player out there.

how do you (or for that matter everyone else who is in favor of him) think he would be a steal? he hasnt scored a single PL goal this season, he only scored 1 in his last season with us! and the neagtive publicity he brings with him (irrespective of whether he is to blame for it or not) is not something our owners want.

squad player - so rather than trust our youth you prefer a loose cannon that costs millions in transfer fee and 100ks/week in wages?
