'The swan, nicked named Farage by the locals has been spotted in the local student bars allegedly telling them to "Fuck off back to their own country". Lee Anderson has been in contact to ask if it's prepared to stand at the next council elections..."
So these twats are free to go around violently spreading hate and fear yet the PA protestors are automatically arrested?
Fucking wank.
Genuine question mate.
Do you support the right to protest outside of hotels peacefully, irrespective of how unpalatable you might find it or would you have zero issue in these people getting banned and all of them arrested?
I have issues with anyone getting locked up for 'peacefull' protests regardless of the issue.Genuine question mate.

Erm "Patriots" ???
Fucking state of this
Exactly.I know it wasn't aimed at me, but I think there's a difference between a peaceful march, or a rally in a city centre, and protesting outside hotels where asylum seekers live.
If the place where you live is constantly surrounded by people, chanting for you to leave the country, accusing you of child abuse, and preventing you from leaving without being in fear, then that's not a peaceful protest, it's intimidation.

That’s social media for you though. People too thick to think for themselves so they copy all of their talking points from the internet. And naturally a lot of those talking points come from US sources. I’ve genuinely heard British people talk about things being ‘unconstitutional,’ referring to ‘the feds’ and giving opinions on issues like gun control or universal healthcare as if they're still a debate here.Bizarre bloke but its what all the UK far right seems to be to me, Reform just rip off the republicans, for a "Britain first" movement its all so American.
Exactly.
If these people were truly concerned, they'd be protesting outside parliament or their local council. They're not; they're outside these hotels stoking fear and anxiety. I keep hearing the UK is a powder keg (it isn't), well it's these cunts that want to light the fuse.
We are fucked aren't we? The right wing drivel seems to pour out of TikTok and other such shit to young impressionable kids and out of Facebook to old impressionable lonely peopleThat’s social media for you though. They have no selfawareness do they?
Thought this was an hilarious interaction between a frothing plastic patriot and a community activist type; it could had been a Little Britain sketch.
Selected quotes include:
Patriot: That is not obstructing is it?
Activist: No, littering
Patriot: People put it up there for a reason. Not being racist.
Activist: Well, I'm taking it down for a reason.
Activist: That's your opinion.
Patriot: Yeah. it's my opinion about other people's opinions.
Activist: Okay, that's fine.
Activist: I'm not looking for your approval, sir.
Patriot: I don't give a fuck about my approval, mate. I don't give a fuck what you think.
Activist: Well, you walked all the way over?
Patriot: I walked over here cos I got a phone call, mate.
Activist: Okay
Patriot: Yeah. You're doing stuff.
Activist: Yeah, I'm taking them down.
Patriot: Well, you I bet you took the others down, didn't you?
Activist: Yeah.
Patriot: Why?
Activist: Cos I can.
Patriot: Cos you can. Why? Cos you want to?
Activist: Why have they been put up? Because people can. Because they want to. It's the same motivation. I want them down.
Activist: Listen. Listen. One person is breaking the law. The people putting them up.
Patriot: They're not breaking the law.
Activist: Yes, they are littering and/or fly tipping and/or vandalism
Activist: Well, I'm going to take it down one way or another.
Patriot: You can you do what you want. Exactly. And I can do what I want.
Activist: You don't need to come and shout at me then.
Patriot: Honestly mate, you're nothing but a wanker honestly.
Activist: Well, thank you for your opinion. I appreciate the feedback.
