The Rise of The Green Party

I made no comment whatever on the truth or otherwise of climate change, I made no comment on what I think about it. I raised the point that these ten year warnings happen constantly and have done for years. How about addressing that point rather than an entirely different one?
I posted that climate change study can be imprecise. I am not sure how much more explicit I can be.

You are right that you made no comment whatsoever on what you think about. I invite you to share your thoughts on this topic given that you are keen to post on this thread.

No. You are continuing to avoid the point raised. Saying it is "imprecise" does not address what I posted in the slightest. You don't get to define the terms of a conversation in your reply.

I think we'll leave it as this conversation appears to be going around in one of those communist/fascist loops I have heard so much about recently.

Thank you for your input and enjoy the weekend.

Yes, you just don't want to answer. Weird to quote reply and then refuse to do so, but fair enough. You too.

Without for a second endorsing the site (because I have no idea what it is) there have been an awful lot of times where we've been warned we have 10 years or so before disaster:

http://www.climatedepot.com/2018/10...recedented-changes-in-all-aspects-of-society/

No wonder people start ignoring such things, it's the boy shouting wolf all the time.

My take is that it’s largely irrelevant. How much the planet is heating up due to our activities is debatable but logic suggests that we do have an impact environmentally and that impact will have an effect. How much effect? No idea. On the other hand the steps taken to reduce our impact also makes the planet a better place to live. Not burning coal is better than burning coal; cleaner engines in cars is better than engines pumping out all kinds of shit and so on. I guess I don’t worry if what we are doing is adding to the problem or not as steps to taken to avoid the problem (real or imagined) are ones we should be taking anyway and make the planet a better place to live.

In short what’s not to like about making the world a safer, cleaner place to live? It’s our home and we treat our homes with respect don’t we?
