Although liking an artist seldom means endorsing everything they ever do.
Especially someone with a career spanning five decades.
But I am willing to forgive anybody who wrote "Forever Young" for having a senior moment.

It is a rather bizarre thing for him ever to have done. Although one of the reasons I like him so much is that down the years he's always done what he wants to do and not really cared about what his audience wants him to do. I think you have to respect that, even if, as here, occasionally what he wants to do is completely bonkers!
