Basically this. He pretty much came out with a back me or sack me line in that interview. Which on the back of losing consecutive games 9-0, 3-0 and 4-0 (regardless of opposition) is only going to go one way.

Doesn't surprise me Parker was sacked. The players were clearly not motivated to even try and close Liverpool down on Sat. Stood around in 6 yd box with no attempt to close Liverpool's players down. That's not a skill issue and the buck sadly stops with the manager as alaways.

This sacking after a heavy defeat at Liverpool reminds me of when we lost 6-0 there and Alan Ball said he'd enjoyed watching it! Unfortunately for us we didn't sack the useless fucker
