This sacking after a heavy defeat at Liverpool reminds me of when we lost 6-0 there and Alan Ball said he'd enjoyed watching it! Unfortunately for us we didn't sack the useless fucker
It is almost impossible to believe we have gone from having arguably the worst Manager in top-flight history to one of the greatest of all time. If that isn't typical City I don't know what is.

Smacks of delusion from the owners. What did they expect from Arsenal, City & Liverpool? At KO at Anfield, they had more points than Liverpool.

Can't just be the results surely (what else did they expect) ? Liked his comments after the game - at least he didn't try & paper over the cracks. Suspect the board weren't happy though. Bournemouth will now go back down. Can't say I'll miss them other than for the guaranteed 6 points we'll take.

Parker is one of the most promising managers, the sacking was brutal and the Directors should hang their heads in shame. Fair enough, they might not have the resources to buy players, but they decided to go ahead with funding an Academy and training centre once they got promoted. If they had used those funds for players Bournemouth might still have Parker as a manager, but I doubt if anyone as competent as Parker would contemplate the job. I live in Bournemouth but not a fan, I just happened to move here twenty years ago. They surprised everyone by winning their first match, but they haven’t invested in the team at all, and their ground is the smallest in the Premier League. That said, City beat them easily but they didn’t go for the jugular, Liverpool show no respect to teams in trouble, shame on them for not easing back once the game was won
