The scum of today (Update)

Woke up about 5 o clock to a car with hits radio on full blast and the accelerator stuck. Looks out of the window and see 2 lads knock out the drivver of a car, (a taxi), then go onto kick its windows in before casually walking off like it was the normal, everyday thing to do. No shame, no 'shit we better get out of here'. Nothing. Looks as though they've done a taxi runner but instead of just letting him stop and then leg it, they've decided to knock him out, causing him to what appears to be his foot locked on the accelerator, out of gear and the car grinds to a halt. Thats fucking bad enough as it is, but then they proceed to kick the taxi to pieces just for good measure. Looked about 18 or so, the little cunts. I'm sure many of us have jibbed a taxi before now in our youth, I now me and my mates did once or twice, a shit thing to do now i'm grown up and realise thats a mans livlihood, but to knock him out and kick his car in?! What the actual fuck is it with kids today?

The bird thinks I should phone the police to see if its been reported, but having experienced their lack of urgency with such matters I know that will be a huge waste of my time with no end result. Hope the guys ok and the little fuckers get run over.

***Got a phonecall just now off Collyhurst Cop shop. The incident has been reported by the driver. The 2 lads had kicked his gear stick off and booted his radio, hence the high revs and loud music. Kicked the outside of his taxi and put a window through. No assault on the driver at all, which is good, but got a copper coming for a statement this afternoon.***

So you complain about the police for their lack of urgency but you can't be ar**d contacting them or go to the aid of the driver who has been attacked.

A) I've dealt with the police on a matter much, much more serious than that but of a similar ilk, and they took FOUR FUCKING HOURS to arrive.

B) The driver drove off after a few minutes so I presume he came round and scarpered.

C) I have a family to think about, which includes 3 kids so if you think i'm going to go out whilst two lads are about who obviously don't give a fuck who they hurt, you best think again and don't blame me for that, blame the knife culture and the pathetic justice given out which does not deter that culture from happening.

D) Have you ever woken up and thought, what the fucks going on, made an instant judgement about whats actually happening and then gone out instantly to sort it out? No, you haven't I suspect.

Did anyone go and check on the driver?

You should ring the police, in fact, you should have rung 999 as soon as you saw it, and given a description of the guys to the police. They might know him, and could be expecting that one more incident to be able to put em inside. They could have popped down to their house, found them awake, found damage on their shoes and stuff and nailed them for it.

I rang the police (the 872 5050 number, during office hours the next day) when some little knobs set fire to the conifer outside my house. I told the police it was just for their intelligence and stuff, and they agreed. They'd rather have something on file than not know about it. That was for a burnt out tree, this is some guy probably losing his livelihood. He probably won't be able to work for a good few weeks, in the meantime, how does he pay his mortage?

Not a bad idea, but it happened in a matter off seconds. The mrs saw the violent bit, I saw the car getting kicked in. Never thought of that but like I say by the time I turned the camera on etc, it would have been too late. Little fuckers though De Niro, kids just don't give a flying fuck today.

Forgive me for my lack of empathy to the police. In the house I live in, which was previously owned by my brother and his mrs, 4...yes FOUR men broke into it when he was on business and she was in the house on her own. On the drive way was a brand new Gold v6 4motion. They wanted it and were prepared to do anything to get it. What they did was use a police battering ram to enter the porch, then use the same equipment to batter the wooden door down. By this time the neighbours are out and have phoned the police. The bloke who phoned the police got the following answer from the duty sergeant at Grey Mare Lane. :'We can't send any officers at present because the only unit on duty in that area is a one-man unit'. Whilst that is going on 3 men are in the garden keeing the neighbours at bay and the other on is half way up the stairs threatening to RAPE my sister in law if she doesn't pass the keys. She refuses. In the bedroom with her are 2 dogs and she uses this as a threat to the twat. This goes on for a good 5 minutes. Eveentually they give up, get in their car and do one.

That incident could have ended up in tragedy to be quite honest, but my point is the police refused to send anyone until there were 2 officers to send as it would be 'deemed too dangerous to send a single unit'. That is what we pay our taxes for, for the police to refuse to come if there is only one officer, so as I say, forgive me if I don't feel fuck all when you say the police need our help.

FFS I only started the thread to show how the scum of today don't give a fuck. Wish I hadn't have cunting bothered now.

That is terrible, but your lack of action, be it not calling the police means you are happy for the scum bags to get away with it scott free. The incident in your brothers house was terrible but to use that as an excuse to let these scum bags off with what they did is not great either.

You haven't even given the police a chance to see if they could catch them irrespective of the police previous non-action's. For all you know there may have been a mob load of coppers around the corner but we will never know will we.
