Your right about the police, I live across the road from a police station, albeit only a little on that is just used for breaks and stuff so there is a good chance nobody was in there but one night about year or so ago we had someone outside the police station at about 3 o clock in the morning screaming that he was going to die and stuff, it woke me up so i went out and he had cut all his hand open and blood was squirting out so I phoned the ambulance and they said because they could hear him screaming and swearing in the backgorund they couldn't come without the police incase he got violient. So an hour later we were still waiting and he had lost a lot of blood and was starting to feel feint so i rung them back and they said its not classed as an emergency by the police so other incidents are being prioritised over it, 1 and 3/4 hours later they finally turned up.
