Personally I think the OP is a bit soft. That’s not to say be a total **** all of the time but there has to be a balance of niceness and cuntishness or surely you’ll become a bit of a wet fart in the eyes of your missus. For example, pull her hair rather than rest your pint on her back when partaking in some from the behind action. This in my opinion shows a bit of a cuntish side whereas resting your pint on her back just makes you a ****. (a funny **** though.)
That leads me on to an essential part of a long lasting relationship. Make her laugh. If you get all bogged down with the crap in the world you can get far too serious and it’ll show. Her being with someone that genuinely make her smile and laugh I believe is a really important factor on why she’s with you. Ugly fuckers like me have been relying on that flaw in the female make up for years.
Don’t be tight with your money either.
Subtle displays of affection now and then are far more meaningful than a full on I can’t live without you, power ballad, over the top and frequent display of affection.
Be absolutely honest. Even if you have to be a bit harsh at times. Honesty is key as there can be no misunderstanding when your off to the game or to the pub as you’ve always done before she rocked up. If you hide things like that away and then try to do them without her knowing, it’ll become 100 times harder to do them because she could kick up a stink when she’s planned for you both to go see her mates new baby right in the middle of the football season.
Just enjoy each others company. Whether it’s you both walking the dog in the local park, watching tv at home or doing something more exciting like being in New York doing the sites etc. You have to enjoy being in each others company because no amount of glitz and glam will hide it if you don’t actually enjoy being in her company.
Be nice to her family.
Do not rest pints on her back.
