The show us your cat thread.

Thanks, I might take you up on that, The car has been found, unfortunately not damaged. I was kind of hoping it was written off with the two twats dead inside

Thanks everyone for your advice and wishes. Still no sign of him, but a lot of people have been comforting to say it’s not usual for them to hide for a few days

I’m more worried because of the fireworks later. My other cat is very quiet since too
Do you have a cat flap ? If not you will have to leave a window or door open for tonite, call him again now before the fireworks start

No cat flap, but I have a Catio at the back, so left that open from the outside for him to come back to and left him a bed under cover etc.

I have also left the back door open for now. I’ve set a motion camera up for if he comes back so I can shut him back in quick

I’ll be sleeping downstairs again tonight to keep an eye out for him

You are a great cat daddy or mummy. Hope he comes out of his hiding place soon x

Unfortunately not. Spent most of today looking for him in bushes etc.

Been out and bought a big shelter for him and made up a bed with some clothes in so if he comes back he can stay safe and dry

Try going around to your neighbours and ask them to look into garages and sheds etc . And call round the vets and animal sancturies and see if he has been taken in anywhere

If you have a local cats protections league or any other local people, should find some on google , ask them what to do next if he is not back tomorrow

I’ve printed posters today and dropped off at all neighbours and the streets around too. I’ve asked them to look in sheds, garages, bushes etc

He’s chipped and all details updated, also neutered so shouldn’t have strayed far.

I’ve been in contact with people on Facebook through cat groups who have given lots of advice etc

They majority have said he will come back when he’s ready.

Thanks kaz

I'm sure he'll come back they usually do. Good luck.

I am sure you will find him , he is probably tucked into a safe place and will come out eventually . Have you looked up ? When my old cat sky went missing for three days we eventually found her stuck up a tree , really high with no lower branches , the tree was in the allottment at the bottom of my garden .i had been down there several times a day and it wasnt till the third day that she answered me

It was the days when firemen got cats out of trees but only when asked by the rspca, so we them both out , it was embarrassing , ha . They tried the hose on her to get her to jump into the next tree but that didnt shift her , it wasnt till the fireman went up the ladder that she decided to jump and ran down that tree and up to the house

Poor thing was completely traumatised by it all but home safe and well , bloody cats !
