Went to bed to watch baseball last night on my phone but the house hold idiot has other ideas. Looks like on my face but she's actually on my shoulder and I'm watching baseball to the left. All the stuffed toys by window are to keep her off the window sill when blind is down as she was messing around with cord and got caught in it

Yogi has only got 3 legs.

He lost his front left leg when a car ran over him.

But that hasn’t stopped Yogi living a normal Cats life.

Once Yogi falls asleep, there is no waking him up.

He especially loves sleeping in-between the 2 sofa seats.

Our Siamese lost a leg to disease but adapted well and happily leads a full cats life.

Merlin has been so anxious and scared since i have had to overturn the kitchen and hallway because of the damp problem, i have had several tradesmen in the kitchen and noisy work done on the drains and all men which he hates hearing, he is very scared by the noises coming from having the front door open all of the time and wont leave the bedroom till the evening when the doors and windows are shut and it is quiet and he stops panicking

He has dropped a load of weight because he has to have me standing over him to encourage him and reassure him, he has also been pooing outside of his tray, he is such a sensitive soul that has to have routine, it has been breaking my heart watching him like this ,he is the most sensitive cat i have had

I found some of his toys in the kitchen and was chucking them up the hallway last nite trying to cheer him up and he was chasing them and on the way past the litter tray he stopped and smelt it and got in and did his business, he even came into the kitchen and sat in the window whilst i fed the badgers, i really hope he has turned a corner,, i still have to have floorboards replaced but then i wont need to have anyone else in the house for a while and we can both relax, bless him

5 years ago yesterday. Phoenix 1st night with us. So roughly her 15th birthday yesterday. Not been herself recently and vet thinks her arthritis in her spine might be worse. Lost weight, more clingy, sleeping more, less playful. Used to greet me every morning on coffee table for a kiss and pet first thing before went in kitchen or bathroom. Not done it for few weeks now. Been taking extra meds for 2 weeks now and got another vet appointment this evening.

Got blood test results back, think she may have cancer. Vet to email me options with one being steroids but if they don't work or scans find it's too far gone then put her to sleep. FFS I promised her day I got her I'd look after her and I can't even do that. I'm in bits

Sad

Sad news. You've been giving her the best life and she has loved it Hope she lives it for longer. If you have to let her go to ease her pain she will be grateful for that too..

You are looking after her you're considering every option for your friend and I am sure she knows that, don't beat yourself up wait for the news from the vet and see where you go from there. Good luck to you both.

Sorry lovely, she loves you and trusts you to make the hard decisions for her and will want you to let go when the time is right for her. I had to let my very old cat go and it was the worst thing i had ever had to do, i held her and sang a silly little song that i made up all those years ago when she was small, she knew she was loved right till the end. At the time it doesn't feel like the ultimate kindness but it really is

Hopefully you have more time with her yet and lots of cuddles , you have loved her and given her a great life and that is all you can do for any pet you have so don't beat yourself up xx
