the six nations 2015 thread

I was there 2 years ago when Wales thrashed us and it was a miserable experience, the first 20 minutes gave me a feeling of deja vu it has to be said but England were magnificent in the end and thoroughly deserved to win, which in fairness was conceded by all the Welsh lads we met after the game.. Ireland look very useful again too..!

No O'Driscoll to drag us over the line this year though, think we'll be second unfortunately, I can't see us beating England or France although I'd be delighted to be proved wrong.

I think you will beat France and you play us in your backyard so you have a better chance with that one too, France didnt Impress me much to be honest. I will be in Dublin for the game, been for the last 3 or 4 now, no tickets but managed to get some twice so far.
See how it goes..!

Me neither but we nearly always seem to struggle against them and BOD was the defining factor in our victories against them. I'd settle for a triple crown if we beat your lot ;)

BOD is a legend and always will be in most rugby fans eyes, Ireland have moved on well without him though after a shaky few months initially.. !

The French are the fucking French though, it's one of the biggest cliches in Rugby but you never know which french side will turn up, one that would beat the All Blacks or one that would get twatted by Italy.

Haha Au Revoir! Not the best performance but delighted with the result, the match in a fortnight is looking like a big one now. :)

06:30 from Stansted to Dublin tomorrow, think this one is going to be brutal, winners will win the slam..!

Bookies have it priced up at pretty much evens, should be a close game, I just hope we can show a bit of improvement as I still don't feel we were near our best against France and Italy, if we do that home advantage should see us with a win.

Agree with this but it was only Roberts injury that got him a test place in aussie due to Gatland. City and then England and Ireland should be a cracker on Sunday, enjoy.

Hoping my pet dragon can roar in France, hoverer I will take a straight throw at a line out and some quick second phase ball, asking to much ?

Im glad Liam Williams is starting today. Cuthbert has not been good enough defensively for me for a while now, and while hes a big lad who runs hard he ends up spilling the ball or being stripped of it too often. Alun Wyn Jones will have a big game today and if he leads the pack on, Lydiate tackles as he does and Samson Lee holds the scrum steady, I think Wales will win by 7 points

Well, that first half sums up why I restrict myself to southern hemisphere rugby for the most part. Clueless, ambitionless and sterile. Not a spark from anywhere. Hopefully the 2nd half is better.

Ireland v England and I wont see all of the game. Should be a good 1. I really think Ireland at home under Joe has a great chance of beating any team. Its all about building for the World Cup Irelands centre pairing of Payne and Henshaw look like they could well be the pairing for the World Cup a handful of games together its going to be Irelands weak point if England can get at them they have a chance. Saying that with the rest of the Ireland back line still so strong I think we can be a overall strong unit. The weather will dictate a lot so ball in hand might be tricky so ball up jumpers stuff tomorrow.

Ireland clear favourites in my book, should be aiming for the WC Final, would be a huge setback if they lost tomorrow.

England's kick offs are a joke. Same shit every time. Vary it a bit, try to retain possession, make them think about it.
