People are at a gig , enjoying the music. And he goes and drops the name, in a very ambiguous way, of someone loved by the EDL and Britain First. Quite a cynical, ugly thing to do especially for someone who's spent decades decrying the cruelty and nastiness of the world.

Johnny, admire your loyalty, I really do. But your youth was way back when, and Stephen is in the past. His attempts to remain relevant are are desperate as your attèmpts to justify him. Let it go mate.

My youth was when I was young. Everything that isn't now or tomorrow is the past. Morrissey is/was/will be relevant. He always was/is/will be. It's in the songs. It always was/is/will be. I don't need to let go. I was never holding on.
