Went to watch the tribute band The Smyths ar The ritz last night. Fair few there so a good night.

Prices of ale in Manc now is getting ridiculous £18 for 4 drinks in the very average Britons Protection.

35 years ago today The Smiths eponymous debut album was released.....
My life would never be the same upon hearing it (i got my copy 35 years ago tomorrow!)
I doubt @BlueHammer85 will be doing anything to celebrate it...

The first half was them playing “The Smiths” album in full (including Suffer Little Children) so probably one for the real die hards that part.

Second half was a mix so the crowd warmed up.

The bass guitarist gets on my tits though. Loves himself and constantly coming to the front of the stage and playing to to the crowd.

It’s a decent night after 6/7 pints though

I went last night, these are a must see for any Smiths fan and only £15 a ticket.
