Got tickets to see Johnny Marr in Rhode Island in May. Mad for it

Mate of mine went, said the first half was a bit slow (ballads) but 2nd half was great

The first half was them playing “The Smiths” album in full (including Suffer Little Children) so probably one for the real die hards that part.

Second half was a mix so the crowd warmed up.

The bass guitarist gets on my tits though. Loves himself and constantly coming to the front of the stage and playing to to the crowd.

It’s a decent night after 6/7 pints though

Went to watch the tribute band The Smyths ar The ritz last night. Fair few there so a good night.

Prices of ale in Manc now is getting ridiculous £18 for 4 drinks in the very average Britons Protection.

I went last night, these are a must see for any Smiths fan and only £15 a ticket.

Morrissey mentioned last night they will be back in Manc in September doing Hatful of Hollow
