Perhaps somebody could ask The Amazingly Dentate One what those scallywag Liverpool supporters he loves so much were up to on 29 May 1985?. And perhaps they might also ask PEG what he was doing on 5 February 2019? Mentioning the words 'Heysel' and 'Tax Fraud' might help both gentlemen to reflect and possibly reconsider their conclusion that yesterday was 'not a good day for football', as Klopp put it.

Now, given lives were lost and a financial cheat was convicted on those separate dates, I'd suggest that those particular dates were truly not 'good days for football'. I'm sure they'd accept that these days were much worse than a day when a civil law case between a corrupt trade association and one of its members resulted in said trade association losing that case, due to its own incompetence and the fact that the said member hadn't done anything wrong in the first place..

I think this huge event will be an enormous catalyst for everyone at the club, will give us a focus until the end of the season and into the next. The way the club has been treated by the hateful 8, UEFA and the media has had a huge impact on our club, our reputation, our players and our fans..The anger we all hold at the injustice, behaviour and bias is real and raw..... And standing side by side now we will show them what we can really do. The session from Pep today shows he is up for it... So let's show them, on the pitch and when we can eventually join in we can provide the passion and noise from the stands.... We are not going to sulk about being victims but we are going to dominate this shower by winning, with style and class... Starting with the leaders of the hateful 8, Arsenal in the semi-final then Chelsea or the Rags in the final, then onto RM and Barca/BM. Can't wait ... CTID.
