Go see the players section, we need replacements for Foden, Haaland and Pep as well. Hot takes are getting dumber every point dropped.
 
The backroom staff needs as much changes as the first team.
Firstly get a competent set piece coach in. We look like conceding from every one into our box, never win the first header and a simple long throw caused havoc. And as for our own, worst in England.
Our finishing is embarrassing, do we practice on the training ground. 48 shots in the last 2 games resulted in 0 goals and very few keeper saves.
And get a young, hungry number 2 for Pep who pushes him and has new ideas
 
Whatever we do, we really need to make sure that we have fullbacks capable of overlapping. Especially at RB, as the inverting of whoever plays there, with no overlap, pretty much nullifies the threat on that side. Happens with Rico & Akanji at RB. Helps if they can cross as well
 
Maybe it’s the wrong thread but I’m watching Everton atm and a player like James Garner would be solid, maybe that’s Reinders but someone who can drive the midfield and get stuck in. This season, Gundo and Kovacic just haven’t done that.

We got £81m for Alvarez and with that money got Gundogan in on a free. And we wonder why we are where we are.

James fucking Garner? You haven’t just scraped the bottom of the barrel there you fell right through it!
 
I think having full-backs that can go both ways - invert or overlap just opens up much more unpredictability. Helps out Haaland - frees up Doku and Savio - the overlap should take away a man from them you would think.

Having watched us and the teams in the latter stages of the champs league, one thing stands out… wingers.

We need one maybe two top quality wingers who can create and score, especially in big games.

PSG alone seem to have everything we are currently lacking. Endless energy in midfield, two full backs who can contribute to the game and wingers who actually show up when it matters.

Whatever people thought of Riyadh when he was here the guy used to pop up with some big goals in big situations.

Think we need rid of the CB at fullback theory, we need 2/3 centre mids who can play alongside Rodri and a winger who will contribute.

A front 3 of Marmoush Haaland Rodrygo wouldn’t go a miss.
