De Bruyne, Walker, Phillips, Gundogan, Bernardo, Kova, Ake, Stones, Akanji, Nunes, Ortega, Ederson. There’s 12 for you two extra. I could see all these go potentially but probably 10 of them

I dont see 10 going this window. Maybe 6/7 or 8 at a push

Absolutely no chance.

Kovacic has been our best player for a while. It's already been said it's likely Ederson and Ortega will stay, doubt Akanji and Nunes will go, no reason for them too, same with Ake.

Think it is time for Gundo and Silva to go, obviously Phillips, Walker and KDB.

Not sure about Stones, depends how fitness treats him.

Think realistically only 5/12 go from that lot.

Tolme said maybe 10 and the fact Pep wants a smaller squad, I’ll stick with 10 from my list and let’s see where we are at the end of the window. I do think it will be 5 in and 10 out or more

Gotta be AT but if our aged mf trio stick around I can't get the free list down to 17 without some very unwelcome loan/sell departures.

Trafford for Ortega would help but as it stands Savinho, Khusanov/Ba, Reis, Echeverri won't feature in the 25. (Which is crazy.)

For me it will be akanji, ake and khusanov who stay. The rest will be loaned or sold.

A lot depends on the right back though, if not Livramento, then most of the alternatives mentioned don't seem to be homegrown. Akanji seems the most logical to try and move on.Maybe even keep Stones in that case.

I think if the RB has to be NON HG, they will have to cash in one of Akanji or Nunes for him at a guess.

Nunes then as if a RB comes in then Nunes is the fall guy as Pep stated that the player isn’t clever enough to be in his midfield?

I think ultimately that will happen plus we know Pep is loyal to those that won all the trophies but he also knows he has to let go. The club will move out more thank most think and force Pep to use the new talent which is shaping up brilliantly

maybe, depends on offers for him and Akanji, and how trusted Khusanov will be/is.

@tolmie's hairdoo mentioned that the likes of Stones may go to Everton on loan for his final year but they pick up his wages fully? Bernardo and Gundo still big rumours of Galatasary , Mcatee will go, Grealish either cheap or loan to save wages, same with Phillips? Nunes was linked with Forest in a deal for MGW? The two keepers may go as well

All true but I would guess that at least half of that won’t happen.

If we keep akanji we get dependent on our RB like we did with Walker. If we keep Nunes we would have a decent backup RB. Akanji isn’t necessary since we have enough CB but the drop off from a Livramento or whoever is joining to him will be huge.

Yup, i can see it going either way. Akanji covers both RCB/RB (not perfectly but doable). Come down to how they see the progress on Khusanov over Akanji at a guess. (and the system)

3 CBs on the bench doesn't look ideal, An upgrade on both would be better.
