I think I prefer foden in the middle. My only other slight concern is that we might be exposed at the back, with such attacking full backs.

I'd expect Foden and Cherki to be constantly interchanging through a match with that line up.Hopefully we can get a new right back that can invert when needed to give us a bit more control at the back.

Id swap Dias for Khusonov. Saw how agreesively high our defensive line is in the CWC. He looks 10x slower, has to slide tackles everytime there’s a ball over the top.

Feel like marmoush, cherki and foden are all going to drift into the same exact spot, while haaland ducks behind two CBs heading to the back post.

Would be interesting to have Doku and Savio wide with foden and cherki in the half spaces at times. But the lack of a mobile 9 always compromises that, unless Rodri gets back to his one-man-midfield vibes.

From the very little I’ve seen Reijnders can also arrive in the box similar to Gundogan, I can see us working on Haaland dropping a bit and Marmoush , Reijnders,Foden getting beyond him. Haaland may not be mobile but he is quick and can join the attack late instead of being the focus and getting marked in the box.
I remember us using that with Haaland and KDB against Arsenal once can’t remember quite which game, must have been in his first season though.

Reijnders, Rodri, Marmoush, Cherki and Foden all have the ability to hit good shots from range.Whoever is hitting those shots though the rest need to be alert and following them in.

Doku in the juventus game played like an inside forward and it worked well.

I might look stupid at the end of the season.but I think cherki gets the most assists, gets double figures in goals. Outshines everyone. I think he's going to surprise the league and the media. His stats are an anomaly. He's only 21, putting stats up similar to peak Kev.

Well if players don’t want to move ,nothing we can do.If that’s true then pointless singing a right back we can’t register.
However I think we will move players and buy a right back.
