It’s a good problem for the club to have but an odd position for Reis and Alleyne to be in. If we went with that 6 we’d have 3 CBs who are proven top quality, 1 who is raw and not far from being the final product and 2 who are very promising and on the cusp of being regulars at most top flight clubs. They’re certainly good enough to play regularly, even in the PL, but are they going to get enough minutes that their development continues? As much as I’d like to have all of them, I don’t think Pep rotates CBs enough to carry 6 and one of Reis or Alleyne may need to be loaned.

I think it confirms the end of Stones and Ake with us, if nothing else.
Probably means that Bah, Simpson Pusey may be sold, especially as I believe that Mfuni is a top prospect too.
As sad as it makes me, it’s definitely time to move on from Stones and Ake. We just have too many young, quality defenders who keep fit to warrant the squad places and wages. Mfuni is who I’d keep as a sixth CB for cup games or an injury crisis since he can still get game time in the academy. Hard to see futures with the first team for Bah and Simpson Pusey with Alleyne, Reis and Mfuni in the mix so we probably should get what we can for them either now or after another loan season.

Huge summer ahead for Viana, there’s a massive clear-out needed. The squad balance is all over the place—we're bloated with keepers, thin in the middle, and carrying way too much deadwood that’s constantly on the treatment table.
And don’t forget, Phillips is still on the books—a total hidden cost, essentially a passenger at this point.
For me, sorting out the midfield has to be the 'priority of priorities.' Right now, there’s only one genuine world-class operator in there, and the nightmare is he can’t even stay fit consistently(Rodri)
If our only piece of business next summer was bringing in Anderson, I wouldn't be disappointed with the window
i agree ,there needs to be another world class player next to Rodri.
For one or two competitions possibly. I don’t remember what he is or isn’t registered for this season.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we got rid of Savinho as well. As we’ve seen most of this season, it becomes problematic having a winger with no end product. Savinho has no end product, at least not even comparable with Semenyo.
Personally I’d be happy to get rid of Savinho. I’ve been patient with him but I’m done. He can’t score to save his life.

Yeah maybe, I'm not sure, I was really impressed by Ryan McAidoo. I just want Savinho gone, he is too wasteful to play for a team of City caliber. Failing to convert his chances repeatedly is how you eventually lose out on titles.

You're probably right. But it would be illegal to sell Marmoush this summer and keep Savinho. That would truly piss me off as anyone can see he's a fantastic player compared to Savinho. I wish Pep would give Marmoush a chance on the wings. Having Doku, Semenyo and Marmoush on the wings are world class options.

Marmoush isn't a winger,either Marmoush stays as back up to Haaland or he doesn't.Marmoush is nothing to do with our choice of wingers.
Isn't it better to try molding Marmoush into one, rather than keep a much worse player in that position? I know Pep said Marmoush is a striker but surely he can do well on either flank. I hate to see a Julian Alvarez situation again. One of the worst piece of business this club has done in recent times was letting go of that kid, just because he couldn't take Haalands spot.
Marmoush would start in any team in the prem, he won't accept sitting on the bench until Haaland gets an injury.

Just realised Hugo is only 12 months in to our rebuild?!?! Seems way longer! He has signed some cracking players though hasnt he for the now and defo long term?

No he won't so he might need to move in the summer,I'm not worried, the squad is evolving and after the summer we'll see where we are. Things are looking good and next season we should start to see this new younger team start to reach it's potential.I'm quite excited by it.
