The Squad planning thread

Villa just won the Europe league , got top 4 as well and still have to sell these rules need looking into

"Aston Villa will still need to sell players this summer to comply with Premier League and UEFA Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), despite securing Champions League qualification.

Villa reported heavy losses in recent years and must tread a financial tightrope. While Champions League football drastically boosts revenue, the club still needs to generate funds to balance out their squad costs and adhere to strict spending limits"
Isn't that nonsense as PSR is getting scrapped for the Squad-Cost-Ratip for the 26/27 season... no?

I don't know, he broke the Savinho transfer news on a youtbe channel 3 days before it broke in the media so he's up and down. I think genuinely good when it comes to premier league players
He has very good South American links hence the Savio news. Not sure on something like this.

Wanted to keep Reijnders and wasn’t thinking about Roger’s.

However if we can get our money back on Reijnders.

Stop Roger’s going to Arsenal.

Crucial it helps with home grown / Club trained which will I think be an issue.

If on top of that Aston Villa want Marmoush then it also helps.
So who do Arsenal get rid of to make room for Rogers?

As a general comment, this should be a frothy transfer window with five of the top six Premier league teams and Real Madrid looking back new managers and Barcelona back to normal operations.

Add the World Cup and it will be more important than ever for us to close our primary targets Anderson and a right back as quickly as possible.

Regardless, this should be a fun ride. Strap in!

Can’t believe you guys are scared of senseless getting Roger’s he’s literally another Eze. They do the same thing except Rodger’s is worse in tight spaces, he’s used to play against space. He’s a great ball striker but he’s not worth the hype. Please watch these players during the season instead of clips or numbers, hear what their fans have to say about him

What

They’re correct. Great long shot on him but when you play 11 men behind the ball how often can you spam them? Rogers isn’t particularly fast, or a particularly great passer like Eze. Poor first touch too. Would be a great signing for Arsenal if they already didn’t have Eze.

Leave - Trafford, Grealish, Bernie, Stones, Savinho, Lewis, Phillips (if anyone is daft enough to take him)
Could Leave/Maybe - Rodri, Reijnders, Marmoush, Gonzalez
In - Anderson, Back up GK, Diomande, RB (not seen one I would say absolutely get)
Potential Ins Depending on Departing Players - Manu Kone, N’Diaye, Tonali

Kees Smit has been omitted from the Dutch World Cup squad; rather like Tuchel, Koeman has instead chosen experience and opted not to include youngsters whose form in the second half of the season has been inconsistent. Looks like the player will probably remain at AZ. One still to keep an eye on but maybe for future windows.

no, he wants to apparently

For example, Savio Moreira, James Trafford, Rico Lewis, Abdukodir Khusanov, Omar Marmoush, Josko Gvardiol, and Tijjani Reijnders are not satisfied with their playing time. And some big names like Erling Braut Haaland and Rodrigo Hernández are also reportedly considering their future at the Etihad Stadium. Now, Rubén Dias must be added to this list, as he has begun to contemplate a change of scenery.

As with other top players, he believes it could be a good time to embark on a new challenge in his career, after many years with the English club, where he has won every possible title. He isn't entirely convinced by the project following Guardiola's departure, and for this reason, he has asked his agent, the controversial Jorge Mendes, to explore other options and offer his services to other teams. Real Madrid is among them.

Taking advantage of José Mourinho's arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu, the famous agent hopes to place his clients at the club, as he has done in the past
How about I'm not entirely convinced by Dias at this point in his career...
Haaland, Khusonov, and Gvardiol aren't going anywhere.
The rest of those guys can go if they want. Still not convinced Maresca doesn't choose Trafford as his number 1.
Wouldn't mind Marmoush and/or Reijnders staying on to fight for a place.
For me with Rodri it comes down to what does he want. If he wants to stay and sign an extension, great. If he wants to go then hasta la vista.
