The 'Stamp'...

Quick question; is it me or is Vinny attempting to plant his foot in his natural stride to enable himself to shield the ball out of play?? Cahill's foot is merely in that space, right??

YES

If agreed, then why are the 'pundits' trying to make it out to be more malicious than it was??

Biased

Graham Poll gets in on the act.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2041771/Graham-Poll-Fernando-Torres-stupid-Vincent-Kompany-seen-red.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... n-red.html</a>

Graham Poll thinking it should be a red (or is that three yellows) just confirms in my mind that he did nothing wrong.

I read Poll's autobiography and he didn't name names but there was some needle between a little clique around him and some of the other refs. I suspect from this that Webb wasn't in Poll's 'Red Wine Club'.

so he says Cahill made a reckless challenge BUT Kompany was at fault for the way he landed? WTF
If something or someone makes me jump in the air I don't give a fuck what is beneath me.

I really don't get it either...
I'm trying not to have my blue tinted specs on, but still, Cahill made a reckless challenge and Kompany is to blame.

I try to not listen to the dribble that comes out of some peoples mouths but this is laughable.

The PRIME news broadcast on Sunday (here in New Zealand) described the incident as "unsavoury". But what they showed was Vinnie trying to avoid a two footed sliding challenge - yet they still blamed Vinnie - even in this part of the world we have to put up with biased media.

At least the other TV channels only showed the two goals!!

as bad as Moyes and his comment that Kompany did it deliberately. He saved his ankles from being broken.
Liverpool have "You'll never walk alone" Everton seem to want "You'll never walk again"
