Cant wait for talk sports verdict on the incident this week. They will have Kompany sent down for GBH by Tuesday.

The same talk sport that stated Rooney had been tweeting about our so called empty seats yesterday...Utter drivel.Only like Hawksby n Jacobs but Durham does have a soft spot for us
It would be interesting to see the last time his club(Everton)had 47,000 people attend a home game, I would wager that it hasn't happened in his life-time.

Hey it's not their fault that they can't get new owners and have to play in a shit hole!!!

Just had my 3rd llook at that tackle, what was Gary Hill trying to do brake Vicent kompanys leg with a tackle like that, coming in from behind, like that. Surely that shoiuld have been a straight red card for Gary Cahill, David Moyes 's problem is that he didn't have his normal ref for this game i.e. Lee Mason from Merseyside.

Sorry David if you get your team to behaver like animals that they deserve all the bookings that your team got, just lucky that there was a sending off.

Vinny didn't 'stamp'. A stamp is a pre determined action where you know what you're doing. But I do think Vinny put his studs into Cahill as the situation happened, without it being pre determined. Cahill went in rashly, Vinny didn't stamp on him but he didn't not put his studs into him. Does that make sense? I think both should have been booked or sent off.

This doesn't mean I think it was a dirty action by Vinny. But it wasn't good.

It also has no baring on the numerous very poor tackles and elbows from Everton players over 90minutes.

Howard Webb won't change his mind - it would be a sign of weakness by the best referee in the league.

I doubt if it will be reviewed, unless Hanson heads the review panel. Cahill went in with both feet, so what do they expect to happen? Kompany levitates above the ground in order to avoid contact?
Webb isn't the best ref in the league. He gets a lot of big decisions wrong.

Correct: Vincent gave Cahill what he deserved, as his challenge was very rash indeed and could have led to Vincents injury if he hadnt have lifted his leg out of the way and quite rightly gave Cahill a taste of his own medicine. And then poor little Timmy got a yellow for HIS DANGEROUS PLAY!

Think match of the day would be much improved if they did what goals on sunday do, get a couple of presenters with an opinion (a fair opinion) rather than a script to read off and get modern day managers and players in instead of these twats who actualy get paid for knowing fuck all about football any more. When the likes of martinez from wigan are on there it makes it a joy to watch as they have an opinion of the match which is afailry accurate. Im sure players would be willing to go on, like when kevein davies and that other bolton fella was on goals on sunday, they even spoke about their match and wern't twats and we know how much of a twat davies is. Match of the day really needs to sort itself out.

More of a landing on than a stamp. VK did not exert any additional force other than natural gravity and he did not move his leg to deliberately land on Cahill. It will be interesting to see if Moyes hysterical school girl bleating and the brainless comments made on MOTD result in the first retrospective action taken against a player that was seen to be fouled by the referee.

Webb may well try to outdo Crappenberg by suggesting that he didn't see any of the incident including the bit where he gave Niggly Roo the yellow card. Funny that Moyes didn't have much to say about the outrageous multi-attempts to put David Silva out of the match. Hypocrite.

I've been a big defender of Lescotts on here but it wouldnt have happened in the first place without his hospital pass. Was an atrocious decision to knock it on to Vinnie in that position with Cahill breathing down his neck.
He underhit the pass anyway but even if he hadnt it was awful decision making.
