Fuck me thats one horrendous post.

Unless you've lived in London then you won't know what I'm referring to. Social housing is a completely different scenario to what it's like up here.
It was a disgraceful comment but not unexpected these days as the demonising of the poor continues. Hopefully in the future the people of notting hill won't have their prestige ruined by those less fortunate.

FFS nobody is demonising the poor. They were moved, get over it

And stop with the inflammatory thread titles. Not all Tories are bad people

Yes, yes they we're and with land at a premium in that area there will be further "moves"for those less fortunate but hey, the well off need prestige homes. Anyone who thinks this is alright need to have a look at themselves. And as for the "get over it" shite, fuck that crap, thats just what twats say on the internet when something they don't mind happens.

What has luck got to do with it?
Why do the well off "need" prestige homes?
How many local home owners took advantage of the property price rise by selling and moving to a lower cost area by choice?

I'm not demonising the poor one bit... Why is it so horrible for them to live in a different borough? Working families move all the time due to economic reasons, should those in social housing be immune to this?

Why are you asking me loads of questions like i'm obliged to explain myself to you? If you had read all the comments in this thread you would know why i used the word pestige. I guarentee that anyone who thinks this is alright earms over the national average wage. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if in this case people did'nt mind moving( though that seems not the case) more will be moved because the land they live on is worth more than they can or have been paying for it whether they want to or not and those with money will think this is just fine.

I wish someone would subsidise my housing so I could live in a more affluent neighbourhood. Best would be those on a similar wage to me who live in cheaper areas. After all they don't need to pay as much rent as me so if we pop a bit more tax on them that will sort me out nicely. I don't mind paying a bit more too as it all goes to subsidising my lifestyle.

Again you are chatting bollocks based on the assumption people want to move. You are basically saying that it is ok for less well off to be moved whether they want to or not to make way for more expensive homes, who thinks like that? honestly who? those better off thats who.

You chattin rubbish to deflect that your stance on this subject is what it is, which is self serving. I may be wrong on this so forgive me if i am but are you not a pilot? which would probably explain to me your view on the subject.
