Any throw-in taken short is a throw-in wasted. Really annoys me when Delap just throws it short to Collins so that he can smack a cross nowhere near the box that usually doesn't beat the first man.

Just defend the throw ins right and they wont score. In training leading up to the game. Get back the defenders who drop back to defend corners and throw ins in our box have the rest of the players going for attacking the ball. Get Given and the other goalkeeper to throw in the balls into the box and make sure they keep more out than the attackers show.

Why do players need to be booked for time wasting when the referee can add the time on at the end of the game?

There really is no problem here, and bookings for time wasting are pointless.
