I have the previous 2 series on DVD.

Bloody brilliant stuff.

The last one of Series 2 was really hard hitting I thought. Very gripping. It will have most women in tears and the softer blokes out there.

McGovern is on the record stating that he wanted to set it in his native Liverpool, but because of the 'woe is me' attitude of Scousers and some of the negative/emotive topics covered, he decided to base it in Manchester and avoid a backlash.
