I thought the word was that the 'Surprise' that's on its way was nothing to do with a player, and would probably be something connected with the proposed redevelopment of other parts of the Sportcity site and other areas round the ground. Some (new) fans on here had better start preparing themselves for a few disappoinments in the coming twelve months or so. We are still a fair way from attracting players like Kaka and Messi, this will come but not yet. A comfortable top6 finish will be great progress for this season, we may sneak into the top 4 but probably not, we will not, I repeat, not mount a title challenge, again, this will come but not yet. People need to take themselves out of the sky and look at where we were a few years ago (unless they supported someone else back then!!) and compare it to where we are now, we have made huge progress but still have a way to go. Enjoy the ride but don't spoil the journey by wanting to get there before you have started out.
