The thread in which Bluemooners reveal tenuous links to famous people.

I used to be the late Sir Matt Busby's golf caddy. He played at Northenden golf club every Sunday (in those days football games kicked off at 3.00pm on Saturday). I got paid 50 pence for each round, but I made 10 times as much selling the golf balls he "lost" back to the golf professional. He used to play in a four that included Paddy Crerand and Willie Morgan, I didn't like either of them, if they played a bad shot I did my best to find their ball before they did and stand on it.

I saw him in Smoak in Manchester, having a candle-lit meal with his little coffee boy Graham, just them two. Definitely a homosexual tension between them, wouldn't be surprised if the new series of Jeremy Kyle is focused on them...'I sucked off Graham in restaurant toilets'.
Not sure why he’s hiding anything like that. Does anyone actually seriously care about that anymore?

Once walked down some stairs in a club behind Terry Christian. You have no idea how much I regret not booting him down the stairs.

Brian Greenhoff and Alex Stepney handed over 5 football trophies/medals to me in a presentation night once.
Clutching all this stuff , the DJ asked me if I'd like to say a few words.
I immediately thanked the Manchester City Supporters Club.
Stepney wasn't impressed at all.
Greenhoff pissed himself laughing and later asked me to sign on for the pub team he was running.
I declined. . . . .Rag.

I took a corner in front of David Beckham. Asked him if he would take it. He just laughed.

I am extremely fortunate. I have had the pleasure of working on and through work driving some of the first team players cars.

Also met a few and a couple of rags. Plus Savage.

As a schoolboy, I played cricket for my school. I was hopeless at bowling, but every player apart from the wicket keeper had two overs in a twenty over a side match. A kid called Ian Botham was facing me, I bowled a beamer, he hit it into the sky, and someone caught it just short of long-on. So I can claim to have got the wicket of Sir Ian Botham.
