The three stars

Like it.

I think we should scrap the stars and have the rest of the crest over a circular Blue Moon.

In 1958, based on an idea of Umberto Agnelli, the honor of Golden Star for Sports Excellence ("Stella d’Oro al Merito Sportivo" in Italian) was introduced to recognize sides that have won multiple championships or other honours by the display of gold stars on their team crests and jerseys. However, the Golden Star is not officially awarded by the Federazione Italiana Gioco Calcio (FIGC) and is voluntarily added to team jerseys by the respective team. In Italy, the practice is to award one star for ten titles. The first team to adopt a star was Juventus in Italy and Europe, who added a star above their crest in 1958 to represent their tenth Serie A title. In 1982, they received their second golden star for having won their 20th league title.

The current officially-sanctioned Serie A stars are:
2 Stars Fc.Juventus, received in 1958 and 1982.
1 Star Fc.Internazionale, received in 1966.
1 Star Ac.Milan, received in 1979.

from wikipedia.

i think this is the best choice to use the stars on the jerseys.

Right, I'll probably get accused of being a Rag on a fishing trip here, but its a serious question!
Now i know that when our badge was re-designed back in the 90's, the three 'decorative stars' above were added to give the badge a more 'european feel', but in recent years stars above the badge has come to represent the number of times a club has been crowned european champions.
We're not the only club to have them for decorative reasons and some clubs who have won the european cup don't bother with them so i suppose its a matter of taste really!
Now if we continue to make progress at the rate we are at the moment then its not beyond possibility that we could actualy win the champs league ourselves in the not too distant future!
So here's my question, if we were to win it, what would we do with the stars above our badge?

Would we...
A, Remove two of them?
B, Add another above the three?
C, Leave it as it is?

Any thoughts?

There'd be unproar if they redesigned the badge again - all the recent scarves, t-shirts, badges, car stickers, hoodies, coats, hats etc etc would be out of date.
I'm happy that the club are offering us both old and new badges - wouldn't want an old old, a new old and a new.

We've had the three star question before and I think it was confirmed from either Umbro or MCFC.co.uk that it was just decorative.
