He didn't mean regular migrants though, it wasn't worded as clear and correct as it should have been but it's clear he was talking about irregular migrants.

Fair play if that’s the case, I’m absolutely not against giving those that need asylum the help they need. I just think the ones that seek illegal asylum are detracting from the genuine people, it’s so sad seeing families driven out of their own countries. We have a lot to be thankful for in the UK.

75% of all asylum ssekers are granted leave to stay , the gov dog whistle to the max on this subject, it is not a crisis
