That is what will have happened to those people.
There will be no bodies.
A human body surface area is about 3000 square inches. The pressure applied at 3800m depth would be around 5400 pounds per square inch. That’s the equivalent of over 7000 tons applied to the body. Like dropping the weight of a small cargo ship on to someone.
