The Titanic

Of course there are more pressing matters, but I was thinking this as well. Cramped space. 5 people. It will just add to the horrific situation they find themselves in.

Just been reading from some psychologist on the news. Saying it will be pitch black in there. No room to move. By now likely going out of their minds and it’s the captains job to keep it all calm.

Nightmare.

I read that there is a toilet at the front of the submersible, they have to pull a curtain across and they turn the music up to provide some privacy..... not exactly first class, but better than nothing!

A bit like going for a shit in the south stand then, minus the cocaine.

What noises have been heard? I haven't read that anywhere on the news.

But don't they always hear noises in these situations? Anything to keep the rescue operation going when resources are needed elsewhere. I'm probably being cynical . But I do hope they find it.

(I just saw it on the news) I do hope they find them.

A noise every half hour now if that was me it be every 1 second

It could have been ten...

On a serious note..how the fuck do you attach a winch to a tiny submersible in the dark with strong water currents at that depth? If they get rescued it will be miraculous and somehow we have to hope it gets done.

Given finite time, I would say reasonably easily. Obviously time is of the essence and even if they can get a line on it, it may not pull free if well and truly snagged

I read somewhere that the submersible has weights on it that dissolve relatively quickly over time so that it should float to the surface. I assume this is a failsafe in case of total incapacitation of everyone on board.
