538 gives us 83% chance to win the title, down from 88% before the weekend. 83% is still pretty good. We'd have been probably OK with being level with Liverpool now. We are 9, potentially 6 points clear which is great.

Liverpool looked very strong in the first 30 minutes today, but then got tired and were a bit lucky to win with the refereeing decisions going their way.

I still think we'll have enough but Liverpool will feel they're right back in it now.

We just need to extend our lead to the point that when they come to the Etihad later in the season, we're too far ahead for that game to be relevant.

I have nothing against this game being relevant for we can dominate and beat them at the Etihad. The problem for me is that the game is between both legs of the quarter finals in the CL, and this team prefers to win the CL than the PL, imo. That is, we'd rather risk the league game than the CL games, IF we beat Sporting. Therefore, I also hope our lead by then we'll be solid enough. But even if we have to beat them at the Etihad, it's feasible, we can do it.

Yes, I’d rather not have all our eggs in the beating liverpool basket but it would help. The game I’m least looking forward to is palace away from our remaining fixtures though.

I actually think the dippers winning is good for City, will keep both Pep and the players focused and the media go on about a "Title Race" which again keeps everyone alert especially with Champs league games ahead. Gives the scum dippers hope and will make it all sweeter when they get fuck all.

I think winning it early last season led to us losing focus and fluency and not being able to get it back for the CL final. Two defeats to Chelsea gave them confidence too. You could be right!

We seemed to fall over the line last season towards the end of the season. Cancelo and Rodri falling out of favour seemed to disrupt the way of playing that had bat the rest of the league out of sight between December and March.
