For me it’s simple. Don’t rotate unless you absolutely have to. It’s the games when we see Gundogan, Ake, Zinchenko etc all brought in at the same time are the times when we suddenly lose tempo.

Keep it to a minimum and we’ll win through. If we pick up injuries, c’est la vie, the bench is quality enough to plug anyone in. But don’t mass rotate for a single game.

Salient.

Wolves at home was a grind, truth be told, fortunate penalty.

Liverpool only managed to win there 1-0 in the 96th minute, so we know it will be a tough one.

I also don''t think Leeds will want a repeat of the 7-0.
Agreed but I'd counter Wolves will have nothing to play for & the rags won at Leeds recently.

We've beaten every team we have left to play in the league this season. Interestingly, we've only dropped points against the same teams home and away:

Liverpool, 2 draws.
Spurs, 2 defeats.
Southampton, 2 draws.
Palace is the only team where our first game didn't match the second as we lost one and drew one.

We've won both legs for every other team that we've played twice... meaning we are scientifically proven to win every league game from now until the end of the season.
With a 23 goals to four difference

I think Spurs could do us a favour.

It’s whether the new Spurs turn up or the old Spursy turn up at Anfield?

United and Everton won’t get anything at Anfield.

In a strange way I think being 1 point ahead rather than 4 will suit us better. It focuses the mind. We know what we have to do now and that is win every game. Having the buffer may have caused us to relax a little in the run in.

I was hoping for Southampton and Villa to do us a favour but judging by this weekends results no chance

it never works out the way it should on paper, either spurs or united may take them for a draw, not holding my breath for united but again you just never know, the next two game are going to drain them at least we can rotate a bit more than them
