Brutal fixture list but exactly where we'd want it to be in April / May.
I’ll be very surprised if we’re not at least 4 points clear after the Newcastle game. I’ll be amazed if it’s not a shorter lead going into villa at the end of the season though. The performance yesterday has given me confidence though, hopefully can reel in the goal difference in the next 3 games also. We’re in a healthy position now. I feel we both will drop 3/4 points from now until the end.

The run ins look pretty similar to me.
Normally you would suggest theirs is tougher but Everton and the Rags are shite this season.
Easy said but win our last seven and there’s sweet fa they can do.

Weird the performance yesterday gave me less confidence, yep we played some great football but the goals we conceded plus the chances we missed tells me we going to drop more points than Liverpool!

We had to win the game.

Just got to go for it all now, foot down, balls on the table, 100%.
Fortune and glory kid, fortune and glory.

the 2 points we failed to gain on them (plus the one we let them gain yesterday) and the 1 point we managed to throw away vs Spurs once we pulled back to 2-2 only to fuck it and let Kane score in 94th minute.

I really hope these two games dont come back and bite us in the arse.

7 wins or 6 wins 1 draw minimum we need here and pray that Liverpool wont win 7 in a row. they can win tho, they aint facing anyone as good as us anymore, the refs will do what they did yesterday, and lets be honest not many teams will stand up to them, they just wont. its not like "Pep/City coming into town lets show them" when they host LiVARpool. its more like, well lets pull our pants down for them , lets bend over for them. even fucking United at Old Trafford, it was 0-5 and could have been more.

There’s no love lost between the Dips and the Harry Kane team.
With luck the HKT will still be battling for 4th with their bitter rivals.
That will give it a big match atmosphere and add some stress to the Dippers.

Outplaying the bestest team in the werld ever gave you less confidence?
Did the opposite for me!

Agree we have to win all 7 league games to win the title even pep said that any drop points and the title gone he said in so many words.

Both teams will drop points, imo. Wolves away may be very difficult for us. Liverpool may drop points unexpectedly. Think Newcastle away will be difficult for them, provided Bayern beat Villarreal tomorrow, for that game will be sandwiched between both games with Bayern (root for Bayern tomorrow!). And their game vs Spurs comes after they go to Munich, 3 days later they go to Villa (Gerrard is under pressure, may be reluctant to do them favours). Spurs at home and Villa away are not hard to win earlier in the season, but when these games come after a long series of crucial games vs teams like City and Bayern, and derby games vs United and Everton, the task of winning all of them may be really hard to achieve.

Liverpool's potential fixture list after Benfica:

City
United
Everton
Bayern
Newcastle away
Bayern away
Spurs
Villa away

That's brutal. Our fixture list will be tough as well, if we play Real/Chelsea, but it's slightly less tough than Liverpool's. If you factor in that Liverpool had already to deal with fixture congestion in February and March, they may be a bit flat in the final weeks. The mental side of playing so many crucial games is no less difficult to handle than the physical one.
