A game every few days again then we go weekly when Chelsea and Liverpool don’t because of carabao - dunno when world club cup is. The Villa game is a big game for that reason, go on a run and could have done daylight come end of jan. Have a feeling not being in the carabao will be a blessing. That and Mahrez aside not losing the players of the importance and number Liverpool and Chelsea will miss due to Afcon.If we can win all our games between now and New Year, I'd fancy us to have a lead of some description.

Agree. This will be a gruelling season - more than last season because of last season and then the euros. It will eventually catch up with teams. Good news is we have de bruyne Grealish and Foden in the wings.I'm happy to stick to my original prediction of 80-84 points being enough. Winner (hopefully us) will be in the high 80s and 5-6 points clear at the end of the season.
I think those suggesting totals in the 90s will be required are way off the mark - runner up has only reached 90 points once in the PL era (the epic 98 beating 97 in 2018-19) and it needs a two horse race with third miles off the pace for that to happen. The three horse race feel to this season should keep the required points lower.
Liverpool playing well at the moment but still very very reliant on Mane and Salah. In a way that is good for them because Salah in particular is an outstanding almost unplayable talent. Another down side of this new variant is that it might see the cancellation of the ACON and on paper that would help Liverpool.

Feel more confident getting a striker in January to just finish the easy chances that we miss . One piece missing from a team that could win the league and champs league .Feeling confident with 85-89 points
City, Chelsea and Liverpool look a class above the rest of the league, would really like to see Chelsea and Dippers drop a handful of points soon and City run away with it
