Higher than last season, as the top three will push each other more than they did last season. 75 would have won it last season. Not enough this campaign. Low nineties for me.

95

I think Chelsea or Liverpool will get 90+ points.

80-84.

Lots of points lost between the Top 6, plus the usual freak result here and there.

Throw in that you only need 1 point more than the #2 team to win the League, and it’s hard to see how 80-84 wouldn’t do it, even in a tight race.

The wild card is all the draws. City won with only 5, with Utd coming second with 11, Liverpool 3rd with 9, Chelsea 4th with 10.

If any of those clubs had turned a few of those draws into wins, and add 2 extra points, it would have been a much tighter race, because Utd only lost the same number of games as we did, with Liverpool & Chelsea only 3 losses behind!

Last season, when we won by 12, it only took 75pts to win it, but we secured 86!

its a question that nobody can really answer until Christmas and everybody settles down
city was never in the race before christmas last season. you never would you fancy us winning the title

with the premier league standards rising and teams from outside the top 6, all good on their day and they can beat you home or away. but the big teams like city know that a run of 10 games changes everything

if pushed and for a bet ? i would start at the 90 points mark

The results were a bit skewed last time as the poll was left open all season so this time it will close just before the first game of the season kicks off.

Obviously things like signings and managerial changes happen throughout the summer which may influence your prediction so you'll be able to change your vote up until August 13th.

Just to clarify, this isn't a prediction of the league winner's points total but what you think will be enough to finish one point ahead of second place.
Are you asking how many points the team who wins the league will finish on?

Or are you asking how many points the team finishing second will finish on, therefore it being how many points the team who wins it will need as a minimum?

Poll closed so I couldn't vote.

This year, there's a ton of competition for the top - points will inevitably be dropped. 88 or so will likely win it.

It will be a lower total this year , there are four clubs who will be vying for the title until Xmas and they will all take points from each other , anything above 80 points could win the title and i can see the eventual winners losing six to eight games.
Even if we get Kane i don't see us running away with it , it could be as late as May before we can celebrate :)

Can see teams taking points of each other.Chelsea, Utd & Liverpool will be more competitive this year.
Between 80-85 should do it.
