Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Southampton have had their pants pulled down by Liverpool before, even off the field with the Van Dyke saga. Scouts (Scouse) honour we won't go near Virgil again, honest y'lordship... Dip dip, dab dab.

But I am loving their bitterness tonight. I've even been threatened with a mocked up version of the league table of if we didn't have de bruyne playing for us .. oh go on then. I think it will probably look a bit like that season when he was injured for several months, and some team in blue still won the league.

As long as Southampton don't lube up and let the dippers batter them and we win the game against West Ham I think it's as good as done with the goal difference. I'd still like us to win all our remaining games though.
 
Extra time in the cup final would be nice and then losing on Pens, no way they would win big after that against Soton.
 
West Ham will obviously be very tricky. Possible we will need a home win against villa to retain the title. Not good for the stress levels of an old fucker like me. I was a nervous wreck at 3-1 up at Ht tonight :-)

Southampton, now there's a side who's very unlikely to lose games 9-0 or the like...

Seriously though, win on Sunday and that should hopefully do it. Don't care if its 1-0 or 5-0, just get maximum points on Sunday.

I was with you there! Will be a tough game and they will want to win it to fight for the last Europa League spot on the final day.

We are in a position where beating West Ham will put us pretty much there now. That is a huge incentive and we saw today how much Kev wants to win it! Would be nice to be able to lose to Villa and still have enough cushion on GD to win it.
