Weirdly it doesn’t change a great deal. Still in both teams hands and a draw is still enough for them at The Etihad. But it uses up one of their ‘lives’. Before today’s game they could have drawn with us and drawn at Newcastle, winning the rest and that would have been enough for them. But now they have used up one of those lifelines in a game they didn’t expect it to be used up.
 
At the moment both sides can claim that the title is in their own hands - on the assumption that they will beat Southampton next week, a draw against us will leave us still waiting for them to slip up again. But, they are looking nervy and City have become so good at winning these key games that it is surely more in our hands than theirs.
Slight margin - gonners drew last 2 but city is flying atm.
Its like how runner or sprinter finish when they get closers to finishing line, they increase their speed and concentration .It’s all inside the head that matters from here and out .
