Didn’t Arsenal fall away this time last year too to allow for Spurs to get top 4? I remember a game at Spurs late in the season they lost and sealed it.

Highly possible that their players suffer from burnout due to not having enough inhalers

Great result last night, but lets not forget what happens when the pressure flips around this stage in a title race. We were imperious in 11/12 but then couldnt handle it when we start to think of the end, when we were new and united were experienced. Once we lost it we could break out and play again.
LONG WAY TO GO
But in 11/12 we weren't competing against Pep Guardiola.

Well that was a nice result for us ahead of a day out at Wembley.

We still have to beat them on Wednesday for me and my heart health!

Close it to 2pts with 2 games in hand before a run of Fulham, West Ham and Leeds for us and Chelsea and Newcastle for them and we could have a good gap which allows us to drop a few points. Brighton away being the stand out game on paper.

Would be nice to win it more comfortably than last season purely because of a potential FA Cup final to come and those two legs against Real, which will take absolutely everything from the squad to win.
I have written off the Leeds game, ridiculous to play it on the Sunday before Real Madrid (a) two days later.

Keep up, Leeds will be moving to Saturday
You can't write any game off at this stage of the season. It is preposterous scheduling but what can you expect from those criminals at the PL. They even played 11 minutes injury time last night. I bet that was an instruction. Let's pray our squad depth can take the strain.

In 2013-14, Arsenal were top of the league for 19 weeks through the season. Arsene Wenger said they ‘won the stamina League’ (whatever that means).

By the run-in it was Chelsea, Liverpool and City who were in the title race and Arsenal had fallen away.

Last season Arsenal had to go to Spurs away in an top4 shoot-out and Newcastle away and lost both games.
