Well that was a nice result for us ahead of a day out at Wembley.

We still have to beat them on Wednesday for me and my heart health!

Close it to 2pts with 2 games in hand before a run of Fulham, West Ham and Leeds for us and Chelsea and Newcastle for them and we could have a good gap which allows us to drop a few points. Brighton away being the stand out game on paper.

Would be nice to win it more comfortably than last season purely because of a potential FA Cup final to come and those two legs against Real, which will take absolutely everything from the squad to win.
Preach it.

100% agree and if we beat Arsenal we still could slip up against Brentford away Brighton and Chelsea. I feel though pep is to wise to and our players will know how easy it is to lose focus and then points
Agree we’re better trained for this than that united side.

Arsenal being games ahead will now probably be our benefit as they’ll still be “ahead” with pressure despite really being chasers

good point, it's almost perfect that they're slipping but they're still top.

Neither post is on the official Alvarez or Akanji twitter accounts.
No blue tick and hardly any followers.
They are both just a fan boy/girl accounts.
Chill...
No, Akanji's account has 16k followers and is absolutely his account. All our players (and in fact all celebrities etc on Twitter who don't pay for their blue ticks) lost their blue ticks recently because the idiot Musk deemed that all legacy blue ticks would be removed.

I'm still not bothered by a bit of light emoji banter from Akanji, though. All our players will 100% be treating the Arsenal game as a must win. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know our team's mentality.

The Champions League is obviously hard for us to win and is prestigious but title run ins go to show why imo the PL title is still the ultimate prize.

And that, even though I hate when we deprioritize the domestic cups, they really are a piece of pish to win in comparison so are only a nice to have.

Ah OK re Akanji.
Surprised he only has 16k followers.
He's been a great buy from us.

Agreed, we are a very professional outfit.
We will be 100% focused on keeping on winning... our momentum has been building dramatically these last few weeks!

But in 11/12 we weren't competing against Pep Guardiola.
What I love about this comment is the dismissive way you compare Fergie with Pep. The current main stream perception is that the United man is better because of his trophy haul but as well as his 26 years at the rags his overall career spanned nearly 40 years. Plus we all know how those two champions league finals went between them. We know the truth - Pep is a greater manager than Ferguson.
